Around Here.

Hello! I hope you all had a lovely Easter long weekend. It has been pretty busy around here lately; we just put our house up for sale (again) and I am crossing my fingers it sells quickly! Mostly because I can't fathom keeping my house clean for endless showings! Even though a baby doesn't take up much space and we have been pretty good about not acquiring too many baby toys and accessories, it still feels as though we are quickly out growing our home. I think a big part of feeling that way is because I was home a lot more due to having a newborn in the winter. Some days it feels like the walls are closing in. So all I can say to that is, bring it on summer! I am so thankful for this warmer weather we have been having the last few days. Another reason I have been scarce around here lately is because my baby girl suddenly went from sleeping 8-10 hour stretches at night (we even got a few 11 hour nights!), to 3-4hours at a time. I know I shouldn't be complaining since she has been a champion sleeper since the day she was born, but if this is the new norm (please, God, no...), then it it going to take some getting used to. {These photos are just a few of my recent thrifting finds}

{Decor8} I am currently loving wallpaper. It has been steadily growing on me... although, at first it was just the tone on tone patterns that I felt brave enough to try. But lately I am finding myself more and more attracted to some of the busy and colourful options out there.  And speaking of options; it seems they are never-ending these days! If you can afford it, there is just about anything you could dream up! When we finally do move to a bigger and more permanent house, I would love to put some in Wren's nursery (I have my eye on the last one in this post!). Lucky for me, Dustin recently learned how to wallpaper as part of getting his ticket in painting - hopefully I will be able to put him to work one day! How about you? A Norfolk Farmhouse. Hello! I hope your week is swell so far. I don't have much time today, but I wanted to stop in and let you know that I found the house I will own when I finally move to Europe one day, ha. No, but really, this house is beautiful... I just had to share. That bedroom is so romantic - I mean, check out those beams!

A Few Lovely Things.

A Few Lovely Things. Happy Monday y'all! I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was just lovely! The sun finally decided to shine for a whole 3 days straight here on the west coast! This is big news people. It has been so dreary lately (and according to the weather app on my phone, it will continue to be)... but I am so thankful for the sunny reprieve we just had. On Saturday we had our photos taken for the first time as a little family of three by the talented Jayme Lang. We had postponed this session for at least 3 weeks because it just happened to rain every Saturday, so we were pretty pumped to finally get out there. We've seen one little sneak peak from our session and it is AMAZING! Can't wait to see the rest - I'll be sure to share some when the time comes.
